The date is set for the Run the 502 Medal Pickup Party.  Saturday, February 28th at Ken Combs Running Store, 4137 Shelbyville Rd. from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.  There will be a group run at 9:00 a.m. and those attending can pick up their medal early and first come, first serve, pick from a grab back of past races shirts.  The will also be registration for door prizes including race registrations, Goodr sunglasses, five class package to Shred415, KCRS gift cards, four pack donut boxes from Jeff’s Donuts and WeRunLou gear! Drawing will be held after 4:00 p.m. and winners will be notified by email.

And we’ll have Jeff’s Donuts, first come first serve!

2025 Run the 502 Fun Facts

Just for fun we thought we'd check out some stats from this past year's Run the 502.

A record total of 617 registered with 298 completing their medal. Another record.

There were 15 total races on the schedule and while no on registered for all 15, 6 registered for 14 races.

Sean Travelstead entered and ran 14 races, Technically it was 13 but he volunteered in the pouring rain at the Downtown Doubler so we're giving him credit for 14.

Pierre Priest entered 14 and finished 13, the highest finish rate

Stephen Gray, Paul Henry, Laronte Ivory, Ben King, James Sumner, Lucas Sumner, Jimmy Turner, Allyson Willis entered 13 races and finished all 13

Of all the participants who earned a medal, the breakdown was:
