Because of the closure of Cherokee Park we will be running the Frostbite 5k concurrently with the Snowman Shuffle 4 Miler on February 8th.
If you were already registered for the Frostbite 5k, here are the details.
You will wear the same bib for both races so no need to worry about having to wear two bibs. We will have two sets of results, one for Frostbite 5k and one for Snowman Shuffle and also be able to announce the final Polar Bear Grand Prix standings.
If you ran the Reindeer Romp and would like to complete your Polar Bear Grand Prix finisher medal Frostbite 5k registration has reopened.
We also rolled back the price increase that went into effect on January 1st and match price increases to match the Snowman Shuffle. If you registered between January 2nd and this morning, you will be receiving a $5.00 refund to your original payment method.
We feel grateful that in the 22 years of the Frostbite 5k, this is only the third time we’ve had to make accommodations for weather and hopefully the last.
Because we are running the Frostbite 5k and the Snowman Shuffle concurrently you must enter both races. There is not an option to run the 5k as a stand alone event unless you enter virtually.
