Join us for our 2oth annual Bark in the Park! Bark in the Park is a timed 5k Woof Walk & Run held this September 30th, 2023 at Seneca Park.
Participate in the thrilling 5K race, or simply enjoy the festivities with your family, including games, food, and entertainment for all ages. Come together with fellow pet lovers and make unforgettable memories at this spectacular event, all while supporting a great cause. Mark your calendars and get ready for a paw-some time at Bark in the Park!
All runners will receive a t-shirt, finisher medal, and fun wag bag with lots of goodies from our sponsors. Benefiting the lifesaving work we do; you won’t want to miss out on all the fun!
This year’s festival will have over 35 vendor booths, a lure course for your pup to enjoy, and we will be providing FREE VACCINES to our canine friends!

Pre-race packet pickup at Ken Combs Running Store, 4137 Shelbyville Rd, on Friday, September 29th from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Race day at Seneca Park starting at 7:00 a.m.
Established in 1984 and located at 12207 Westport Road, east of the Gene Snyder Freeway, the Animal Care Society is a no-kill shelter for dogs and cats.
The Society operates as a private non-profit organization under Section 503 of the Internal Revenue Service code. Annual membership dues, bequests, and donations are tax-deductible to the extent of tax laws. The Society does not receive grants from any local, state or federal agency.

Maximize your impact for Animal Care Society by creating a team and recruiting friends, family, and colleagues to run with you in support of our mission! Each team will be asked to recruit as many runners, walkers, and virtual participants as possible. Teams are encouraged to utilize the online fundraising tool to have an even larger impact! During our closing ceremony, we'll recognize the teams with the most participants and highest fundraising dollars from the event stage!"
