This is Louisville’s unique road event because the course does not go around the zoo; it goes “throo” it! So, while you give your legs their first real challenge of spring, you can treat your senses to the sights and sounds of nature—snow leopards, tigers, and flamingos. The Norton Audubon Hospital Throo the Zoo 5K is a grand adventure for the entire family. Most importantly, everyone can participate—runners, walkers, and animal lovers of all ages.

Each participant also will receive FREE admission to the zoo for the day.

Our scenic course begins at the City of Jeffersonville RiverStage and winds along the banks of the Ohio, through the picturesque neighborhood’s streets with many of the homes approaching over a century in age. Run for the top trophy or just take a leisurely stroll and check out the fall bursts of color along the Jeffersonville waterfront.

Anyone 18 over may register by
Saturday, October 29th at a fee of $25.

After that weekend, late and day of race registration will be
$30. Participants under 18 years of age may register anytime
at the discounted rate of only $15. Race day registration at the
event site opens at 8 am.

ENTRY FEES

7th, plus an unwrapped gift for a child, preferably a 12-15 year old (books, logo wear apparel, games) for Toys for Tot's.  Bring gift to packet pickup. Without toy, donate $10. Walk in registrations accepted at Fleet Feet Sports until 7:00 p.m. December 9th.
