Four miles, USATF Sanctioned. Start on “Home
Plate” at Slugger Field, round the “Bases”
(miles 1, 2, and 3) and race for “Home Plate”
Back at Slugger Field.
$20 early registration, $25 after July 23rd. All
registrants will receive a high quality Grand
Slam 4 Mile race t-shirt (only pre-registered
will be guaranteed a shirt on race day ) and one
ticket to the Bats game against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Rail Riders (the NY Yankees affiliate) at 6:05 p.m. that evening. Runners may
purchase additional tickets for just $3.00.

PANCAKE AND BACON BREAKFAST AND DOOR PRIZES
Stay for the door prizes and pancake and bacon breakfast after the race. This was a real hit last year so don't miss it!
Overall male and female will receive a
Louisville Slugger baseball bat and will throw
out the first pitch at the game that night. Top
three will receive a commemorative Hillerich
and Bradsby Louisville Slugger Souvenir
Top three male and female in each age group
will receive awards. Age groups: 9 and under,
10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44,
45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over.
Awards ceremony at 9:15 a.m.
Door prize drawings start at 9:00 a.m.
Free post race pancake and bacon breakfast start at 9:00 a.m.
Late registration and packet pick-up will
begin at 7:00 a.m. and will close at 7:45 a.m.
EVERY runner/walker will receive one
complimentary General Admission ticket to the
race night game as the Bats take on the
Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Rail Riders (New York Yankees affilitat) at 6:05 p.m. The Overlook
Deck will be reserved for race participants at
that evening’s game. Additional tickets may be purchase for $3:00.

The top male and female race finishers will be
throwing out the evening’s first pitch.
Louisville Slugger Field is entertaining fans for its
13th year this 2012 season. The Louisville Bats
are seeking an IL West Division Title, and they
are striving to lead the International League
in attendance again this year!
The race is named in honor of
Dr. Edgar Morgan. Dr. Morgan
was a dedicated Kiwanis member
and long-time advocate for the
Louisville running community.
The Kiwanis Club of
Louisville is a snapshot
of the Louisville/Jefferson County
Metro community. We have
members from all walks of life and
at every step of the career ladder. However we
