Highland Community Ministries is an organization of 25 Highlands area churches that provide outreach to the community with eldercare services, day care, individual and family assistance, youth sports programs and more.

This 10k run on Saturday, October 23rd at Iroquois Park is a celebration of local runner Doug Burchett's life and community involvement. Proceeds are to benefit the Will to Live Foundation for Brain Cancer Research.

A rare 10k follows a seldom run course through Iroquois Park. Not up to the 10k, participate in Ryan's Ramble 1 Mile Walk.

The run includes a t-shirt, fruit and bagels for just $15 early registration through October 20th and $20 late registration from October 21st until race day.

LOUISVILLE Run Like Hell

Run Like Hell is a unique 5K run, walk or crawl that begins at dusk at Distillery Commons and winds around the Highlands area and back to an all-out Halloween Bash complete with one of the most interesting costume contests, music and DJ from 93.1 the FOX, food and fun! Followed by a 21 and over exclusive party for all Run Like Hell participants and sponsors at O'Shea's ( 956 Baxter Ave , Louisville , KY 40204 ).
