Norton Audubon Hospital presents the Throo the Zoo 5k Run/Walk. 

This is Louisville’s unique road event because the
course does not go around the zoo; it goes “throo”
it! So, while you give your legs their first real challenge
of spring, you can treat your senses to the
sights and sounds of nature—snow leopards, tigers,
and flamingos. The Norton Audubon Hospital Throo the Zoo 5K is a grand adventure for the entire family. Most
importantly, everyone can participate—runners,
walkers, and animal lovers of all ages.

First 1500 registrants guaranteed at commemorative race shirt.

All participants receive a FREE ticket to the Zoo for the day.

Packet Pickup: No race packages will be mailed. Advance pickup of race numbers, shirts and instructions will be available at Calistoga Artisan Sandwiches, 4000 Fleet Feet Sports, 1500 Bardstown Road, on Friday, May 7, 2009, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. or on race day, beginning at 7 a.m. through 7:45 a.m. SHARP. 

Awards: Overall male and female will receive the coveted Ostrich Egg Award. Top 5 male and female overall, first master and grandmaster. Top three in each age group, 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 and over.
